Presentation tools gone bad
Slides should reinforce your words, not repeat them.
Don't use cheesy images.
Transitions - keep it simple
Create a leave behind written document.
Don't hand out printouts of your slides - they don't work without you there.
Adds limitations on presentations to foster increased clarity and creativity. 20 slides, 20 seconds for each slide. 6 minutes and 40 seconds. (20x20,6:40)
Pecha Kucha Training Bite video Presentation Tech Tools:
Prezi.com - Fantastic tool that encourages good communication techniques.
SlideRocket.com - A more powerful tool that can record audio annotations.
Google Docs/Presentations - Great for collaboration. Basic features
Vuvox - scrolling collages with audio
One True Media - simple, quick online video maker Fotobabble - talking photo maker
WallWisher - create a blank wall for simple collaboration. Really cool tool.
Glogster - create interactive posters
Voki - create talking avatars.
Live Scribe Pen - Technology meets paper. This tool lets you record audio that's paired to your hand-written notes. You can play back the audio that occurred at the time you wrote a note. Great for grading/capturing oral presentations.
